I've been working really hard on my college English portfolio and am well on my way to actually getting somewhere with it, maybe, I guess that I will just have to wait and see where things lead me.

This week was Homecoming week at my high school, and since I said that I would post about my last year in school I thought that I would post some pictures of the homecoming parade. I will start by just posting one or two a day, until I have them all posted. I took these pictures on Ann's camera. Other details about homecoming. We won our first game of the season tonight 42-6. I was so proud of our boys. My friend Shambria was Homecoming Queen, I actually cried for her at the game when they announced it, I was just so happy. I think that my class has come a long way in the last four years, and Shambria being homecoming queen just goes to show that. Shambria isn't your normal homecoming candidate. She isn't really popular or anything, but one thing is for sure, she represents our class and school perfectly. I am proud to say that she is my friend, and I am just so happy for her. I will post a picture of her and the homecoming king in the parade today. The king is Nick.So that was my amazingly eventful day. Basically here is what I have to say about dreaming. Everyone has their dreams, and we must never give up on them, because sometimes those dreams come true. How else could Shambria have become homecoming queen.

Of course the king was Nick, Nick is always king.
Congrats to Shambria! What a neat experience...and lovely pictures. I absolutely love her name too. I hope you and your friend had a great homecoming. :)
